Hi, I’m Jen and I’m a student Person-Centred Counsellor at Calm Journey.
Through my studies, life experience and my own personal therapy, I have gained the tools to support you and provide a safe space for us to explore whatever it is you want to explore. Whether it’s a specific issue or you need someone to listen to you, I will support you with whatever you need.
I was drawn to counselling because I love to connect with others and I believe that connection in a safe and non-judgemental environment is the key to feeling understood and heard and ultimately feeling better.
I won’t tell you what to do but I’ll be there with you while you navigate through your feelings and things that are important to you. No subject is off the table.
A little bit about me: I am a singer and songwriter in my spare time, which isn’t much as a mum to three young children! I am also a wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, auntie, cousin and friend. And most importantly, I’m me! I love the outdoors and running helps me clear the cobwebs after a long, busy day.

Person-centred therapy, also known as person-centred or client-centred counselling, is a humanistic approach that deals with the ways in which individuals perceive themselves consciously, rather than how a counsellor can interpret their unconscious thoughts or ideas.
