Hey I’m Lou and I’m a student person centred counsellor here at Calm Journey Therapy.
I believe self-care is vital—and therapy deserves the same attention we give to other aspects of our well-being, like getting our hair or nails done. My approach is grounded in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard, supported, and free to share what feels right for you, at your own pace.
As a person-centred counsellor, I tailor each session to suit your individual needs. With empathy and genuine care, I’m here to support your journey towards self-awareness, healing, and meaningful change. Together, we can work to uncover insights, foster resilience, and help you reconnect with your authentic self.
My aim is to provide a compassionate environment that encourages reflection and personal growth. Through our work together, I hope to support you in making sense of life’s experiences and embracing who you are with confidence and clarity.

Person-centred therapy, also known as person-centred or client-centred counselling, is a humanistic approach that deals with the ways in which individuals perceive themselves consciously, rather than how a counsellor can interpret their unconscious thoughts or ideas.
