Lou

Hey, I’m Lou.
Maybe you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or finding it hard to see a way forward. Life can throw a lot at us, and sometimes we just need someone who will really listen — without judgement — and help us make sense of things. That’s what counselling with me is about.
I work with adults (18+) and support people through anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, trauma, identity and relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, health issues, and neurodiversity. My foundation is Person-Centred Therapy, which means you lead the way, but I also bring in tools from solution-focused ideas, hypnotherapy, trauma training, and suicide awareness (Orange Button scheme) when they might be helpful.
Sessions are £40 for 50 minutes, and I also offer reduced cost options if money feels like a barrier. You can meet me face-to-face in Eastbourne, online, or by phone — whichever works best for you. I also offer a free 15-minute chat so you can get a feel for how we’d work together.
Outside of counselling, I’m a mum of two and love spending time by the sea. I know how busy and challenging life can be, which is why creating a space just for you — where you can pause, reflect, and be yourself — matters so much to me.

Person Centred
Person-centred therapy, also known as person-centred or client-centred counselling, is a humanistic approach that deals with the ways in which individuals perceive themselves consciously, rather than how a counsellor can interpret their unconscious thoughts or ideas.
